Why won't men ask us out to dinner anymore?

Whenever they ask to meet for the first time they want to meet for a cheesy cup of foo foo coffee. Not even a drink? What ever happened to getting to know each other over a nice dinner? I don't like tea & I drink enough cheesy coffee at work.
