Biology question please: What are the pros and cons to light and electron microscopes?

Light microscopes can not magnify as much as electron microscopes, and their resolution is not as good. However, they're cheaper and more portable/smaller than electron microscopes, and can be used to view living specimens, which electron microscopes are unable to do.
