Can i sue for slander defamation of character?

You can sue and it will only cost you a few thousand to do so, and if the person does not have anything as most college students do not the best you could hope for would be to remove it from your school record if it was in fact recorded, you could do the same thing by appealing to the school board to have it removed if you can prove it is false and it will not cost you thousands, a false claim like this should not hurt any employment choices you may make.}{
