Which is the better city for students: Exeter or Durham?

I live in Exeter & it is a great city,great student life here as city is very welcoming to students.The university campus is beautiful,much better than Durham, but easy walk from most residential areas.One of the main areas for students to rent in is Mount Pleasant,mainly Edwardian & Victorian houses but mes of them converted in recent years for students & easy access to the city & uni.Quite a few new blocks of flats purely for students too.Fantastic night-life & plenty of it,great history,good beaches within 10 to 12 miles,not far from Dartmoor either if you want trips elsewhere.There are certainly livery stables around too or you can go to the moors for pony-trekking etc.Good rail links with whole UK & we have a small international airport that serves most of Europe
